Job summary

Care with Dignity at Home LLC in Stafford, VA is seeking an HR Coordinator / Home Care Scheduler to source, recruit, and onboard qualified caregivers (PCA, CNA, HHA) to support client care and agency growth.

You will manage interviews, background checks, I-9/W-4, onboarding, WellSky and payroll setup, maintain caregiver files, and partner with leadership to ensure compliant, high‑quality hiring. This role blends recruiting, administration, and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, preferably in healthcare or home care.
• Knowledge of caregiver roles (PCA, CNA, HHA).
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and job platforms.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet hiring goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified caregivers.
• Post and manage job listings across platforms.
• Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and outreach.
• Screen applicants via interviews.
• Maintain an active pipeline of candidates.
• Coordinate interviews and onboarding with leadership.
• Perform reference checks and background screenings.
• Ensure completion of onboarding requirements (I-9, W-4, TB, certifications).
• Facilitate new hire orientation and system setup (WellSky, payroll).
• Maintain caregiver files and ensure compliance with state requirements.
• Track annual training requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee records.
• Support HR functions and policy documentation.
• Assist with job fairs and community outreach.
