Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena, a LCS-managed senior living community, seeks an experienced QLS/Caregiver to deliver compassionate personal care to residents. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinent care, and meal support while maintaining dignity and comfort.

Shifts run 12 hours (7:00-19:30 and 19:00-07:30). We offer both full-time and part-time roles with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid vacations, life and vision insurance, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Make beds, launder resident clothing, and assist with meals as assigned.
• Provide planned activities and respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.

Working for our senior residents at Clarendale will make your heart happy. We are seeking an experienced & hospitality focused QLS/Caregiver. Responsible for various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort ofresidents. Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.

Shifts needed days/nights - 7:00 am-7:30pm and 7:00 pm-7:30 am

The Role:

• Assist all residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed, complete resident's laundry as assigned, assist residents with meal time.
• Provide activities as planned/directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Provide emergency care within scope of practice.
• Utilize special program components offered by the community.
• Provide services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort ofresidents.
• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care.
• Be familiar with and follow community policies.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
