Job summary

Clarendale of Addison is seeking an experienced Quality of Life Specialist/Caregiver to provide resident care and nonprofessional services essential to comfort and well-being. The role is full-time 3:00 pm–11:00 pm with starting pay of $18.00/hour plus a $2.00/hour weekend differential.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and daily activities, while maintaining a calm, hospitable atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care.
• Make beds and change bed linens; assist with light housekeeping as needed.
• Assist residents with meals and mobility; document observations and report to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care to residents.
• Assist residents with meals and feeding.
• Utilize programs and promote a calm atmosphere.
• Complete shift assignments and report to nursing supervisor.

Working for our senior residents at Clarendale of Addison will make your heart happy. We are seeking an experienced & hospitality focused Quality of Life specialist/Caregiver. This role will perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of the residents.

Full-time 3:00 pm-11:00 pm

Starting at: $18.00/hour- plus $2.00/ hour weekend only shift differential

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed in A.M., turn down as needed in P.M. and change bed linens once each week or PRN.
• Complete resident’s personal laundry as assigned.
• Assist residents with meal time. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Utilize special programs components offered by the community.
• Promote a calm atmosphere.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, and report to nursing supervisor.
• Report to nurse on duty and Director of Health Services all unusual behavior of resident (changing of status).

PCA certificate or CNA License (preferred)
