Job summary

Clarendale of Addison, a hospitality-focused senior living community, is seeking an experienced Quality of Life Specialist/Caregiver. The role performs resident care and nonprofessional services to support comfort and well-being.

Full-time schedule 3:00 pm-11:00 pm with starting pay $18.00/hour and a $2.00 weekend differential. Benefits include 401(k), health, life, vision insurance, and PTO. PCA certification or CNA license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• PCA certificate or CNA license is preferred.
• Experience in senior care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and comfort needs.
• Make beds, tidy rooms, and handle light laundry.
• Help with meals, cut food, and encourage eating.
• Follow care plans and document shifts for nursing staff.
• Report any changes in resident condition to the nurse on duty.

Working for our senior residents at Clarendale of Addison will make your heart happy. We are seeking an experienced & hospitality focused Quality of Life specialist/Caregiver. This role will perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of the residents.

Full-time 3:00 pm-11:00 pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed in A.M., turn down as needed in P.M. and change bed linens once each week or PRN.
• Complete resident’s personal laundry as assigned.
• Assist residents with meal time. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Utilize special programs components offered by the community.
• Promote a calm atmosphere.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, and report to nursing supervisor.
• Report to nurse on duty and Director of Health Services all unusual behavior of resident (changing of status).

PCA certificate or CNA License (preferred)
