Job summary

Clarendale of Addison is seeking an experienced, hospitality-minded Quality of Life specialist/Caregiver to assist residents with personal care and comfort needs. This full-time role runs 3:00 pm–11:00 pm and offers a starting wage of $18.00/hour with a $2.00/hour weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care to seniors.
• Ability to follow care plans and document care.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving and other personal care tasks.
• Help with meals, assist feeding as needed, and encourage to eat.
• Make beds, change linens, and handle light housekeeping as assigned.
• Perform vital signs checks and report any changes to nursing supervisor.
• Assist with laundry and maintain a calm, respectful atmosphere.
• Document shifts and communicate with the Health Services Director.

This role will perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of the residents.

Full-time 3:00 pm-11:00 pm

Position Summary

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed in A.M., turn down as needed in P.M. and change bed linens once each week or PRN.
• Complete resident’s personal laundry as assigned.
• Assist residents with meal time. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Utilize special programs components offered by the community.
• Promote a calm atmosphere.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, and report to nursing supervisor.
• Report to nurse on duty and Director of Health Services all unusual behavior of resident (changing of status).

PCA Certificate Or CNA License (preferred)
