Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena seeks an experienced hospitality-focused CNA/Caregiver to assist residents with personal care and daily activities. The role requires 12-hour shifts (7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am) and offers full-time or part-time schedules along with health, life, vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k).

A post-offer background check is required. Candidates with a High School Diploma or GED are welcome.

Responsible for various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort ofresidents. Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.

Shifts needed days/nights - 7:00 am-7:30pm and 7:00 pm-7:30 am

The Role:

• Assist all residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed, complete resident's laundry as assigned, assist residents with meal time.
• Provide activities as planned/directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Provide emergency care within scope of practice.
• Utilize special program components offered by the community.
• Provide services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort ofresidents.
• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care.
• Be familiar with and follow community policies.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
