Job summary

Clarendale of Addison is seeking a hospitality‑oriented Quality of Life Specialist/Caregiver to support our senior residents with personal care and nonprofessional services. The role demands compassion, reliability, and teamwork to maintain a warm, welcoming environment.

This full‑time position offers an evening schedule (3:00 pm–11:00 pm) with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour and a $2.00/hour weekend differential. PCA certificate or CNA license is preferred to join our caring team.

Qualifications

• Assist all residents with high quality personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinent care).
• Support residents with daily activities to promote comfort and dignity.
• Provide compassionate, friendly service aligned with hospitality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Make beds, change linens, and perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Help with meals: assist during mealtimes and encourage eating.
• Document shifts, report changes to nursing staff and supervisor.
• Maintain a calm, welcoming atmosphere and support residents' comfort.
• Follow care plans and safety policies to ensure well-being.

Working for our senior residents at Clarendale of Addison will make your heart happy. We are seeking an experienced & hospitality focused Quality of Life specialist/Caregiver. This role will perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of the residents.

Full-time 3:00 pm-11:00 pm

Starting at: $18.00/hour- plus $2.00/ hour weekend only shift differential

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed in A.M., turn down as needed in P.M. and change bed linens once each week or PRN.
• Complete resident’s personal laundry as assigned.
• Assist residents with meal time. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Utilize special programs components offered by the community.
• Promote a calm atmosphere.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, and report to nursing supervisor.
• Report to nurse on duty and Director of Health Services all unusual behavior of resident (changing of status).

PCA certificate or CNA License (preferred)
