Job summary

Vitality Living in Richardson, TX seeks a compassionate Caregiver for our Appletree Court Assisted Living community. This PRN role supports residents with activities, basic care, and emotional well-being, following service plans and collaborating with the Wellness Director.

You will participate in onboarding, trainings, and team meetings while documenting observations and communicating needs to the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director

• Shift: 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm
