Job summary

Vitality Living Lake Forest in Sanford, FL is seeking a compassionate CNA Caregiver to support residents with daily activities, simple treatments, and emotional well-being per care plans.

You will help develop and revise service plans, observe residents, report issues to supervisors, participate in onboarding and trainings, and perform other duties as assigned by the Wellness Director.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Maintain CNA certification as required by state regulations.
• Meet state health-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities, simple treatments, and emotional health as per service plans.
• Assist in development/revision of service plans by informing supervisor of needs and preferences.
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid.
• Attend onboarding and in-service trainings and team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.

CNA Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with the performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in the development and revision of service plans by informing the supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
