Job summary

Vitality Living Baypoint Village is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our Baypoint Village community in Hudson, FL. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities, supporting emotional well-being, and helping maintain service plans under supervision.

We value compassionate, reliable team members who communicate effectively in English. This full-time position requires a 6am-2pm shift and adherence to health and safety standards within our vibrant living community.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to interact with residents and families in a compassionate manner.
• Must be able to follow service plans and report concerns to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and address emotional and behavioral needs as indicated in service plans.
• Support development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of resident needs and preferences.
• Observe and report resident problems to the LPN or Medication Tech/Aid.
• Participate in onboarding, annual, and in-service training and team meetings.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
