Job description

English Rose is seeking a PT/FT Caregiver (CNA, HHA, PCA) to join our team to provide care & engagement with our residents.

Our staff-to-resident ratio is 1:3 in our homes, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care and building meaningful relationships with your residents. That's the very reason you decided to become a caregiver, isn't it?

Wage Range: $17 - $24 per hour, based on experience, certification, and expertise.

Shift times: 2p-10p (every other weekend required).

Required Qualifications:

• Relationship-focused, compassionate caregiver (HHA, Resident Assistant, PCA, CNA)
• Passion for leading engaging activities with residents to ensure their holistic well-being
• Able to pass the MDH background check & tuberculosis screening
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be on your feet for the majority of your shift
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Professional and positive attitude
• Cooking & cleaning experience (preferred)
• Valid Driver's License (preferred)
• Dementia Care experience a plus (but not required)

Primary Responsibilities of our Resident Assistants:

• Provide direct care to residents with dementia and complex medical conditions
• Support residents by preparing meals, distributing medication, housekeeping, and laundry services
• Follow programming plans to provide meaningful engagement for the enrichment of our residents' lives
