Part Time Resident Assistant | PM Shift, 2:45 pm - 10:45 pm | Every other weekend rotation | 30 hours/pay period (2 weeks)

Ecumen is hiring a Resident Assistant for our newly acquired St. Benedict’s Community in Monticello, which includes assisted living, memory care, and independent living.

The Resident Assistant provides personal care and delegated health-related services to maintain residents' physical and emotional well-being. Responsibilities include following service schedules and documenting services accurately.

The targeted pay range is $18.50 - $22 per hour. Compensation factors include experience, qualifications, certifications, licenses, and education.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with treatments and activities of daily living as delegated by the Clinical Director, including dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, ambulation, transferring, oral care, incontinence care, and use of assistive devices, glasses, hearing aids.
• Administer medications as delegated by the RN.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions.
• Promote independence, offering choices and supporting self-help skills.
• Partner effectively with team members and support all community staff as directed.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Lead and assist with resident activities as assigned.
• Respond appropriately to safety hazards, call lights, requests, and reassignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, including Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precautions, OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing laws, and others.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with seniors.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or Home Health Aide certification.
