Job summary

A First Name Basis Home Care is looking for an Onboarding Associate to own caregiver orientation from hire to clearance. In addition to onboarding, you’ll provide front-office and administrative support, helping keep the office organized and compliant.

You’ll greet caregivers, coordinate pre-arrival items, conduct interviews and trainings, and ensure smooth onboarding. A high school diploma plus relevant experience is preferred, with friendly, reliable presence essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Greet caregivers at the front desk in a warm, professional manner.
• Confirm completion of pre-arrival items and help candidates finish outstanding tasks.
• Conduct in-person interviews and administer drug tests.
• Complete onboarding, including drug screening and background checks.
• Process onboarding paperwork and ensure signatures are captured.
• Review compliance items and identify any missing requirements.
• Deliver orientation and training to engage new caregivers.
• Explain policies, procedures, expectations, and scheduling processes.
• Assess candidate professionalism and fit, flag concerns to recruiting.
• Introduce new caregivers to the on-site Care Management team.
• Track onboarding status from hire to clearance and schedule initial shifts.
• Follow up with caregivers to complete onboarding requirements.
• Support caregiver recruiting calls, interviews, and orientation scheduling.
• Handle office calls and maintain onboarding materials.
