Job summary

Waters Edge Lodge in Alameda, CA is seeking a full-time Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for the night shift (10:30pm–7:00am). This temporary role runs through May 2027.

You will assist residents with daily living tasks, monitor activity, respond to needs promptly, and help maintain safety and comfort within a 100-unit community. The position offers benefits eligibility and potential for part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Basic computer skills (care programming is computer based).
• Ability to life 150 pounds.

Waters Edge Lodge is currently seeking a full-time Personal Care Attendant(PCA) for the night shift!

$20.30 per hour, benefits eligible

This position works a 4-on, 2-off rotation from 10:30pm-7:00am.

This is currently a temporary position through May 2027.

The primary functions of a PCA are:

• Help residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily living tasks
• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining resident privacy and personal dignity
• Monitor resident activity and functional status
• Assist with apartment tidying to ensure safety and comfort

This is a full time position, but we are open to 2 part-time employees instead.(On-call/PRN may also be available)

Minimum qualifications are:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
• Ability to follow written and oral directions
• Basic computer skills (care programing is computer based)
• Ability to life 150 pounds
