Job summary

Colony Court Senior Living is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide compassionate daily living support to residents. The role includes bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, and medication help in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and medication assistance.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition with documentation of vital signs and services.
• Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life through companionship and individualized care.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment following infection control and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with care team, assist coworkers, complete delegated tasks, attend trainings, and follow care plans.

What You'll Do:

• Provide compassionate personal care and support with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and medication assistance
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or medical conditions, including documenting vital signs and services provided
• Promote client independence, dignity, and quality of life through companionship, social engagement, and individualized care support
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment by following infection control, safety procedures, and completing light housekeeping duties
• Collaborate with the care team by assisting co-workers, completing delegated nursing or therapy tasks, attending required trainings, and following agency policies and care plans

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Good standing, active MN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or successful completion of agency-provided training
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience with older adults preferred
