Job summary

Waters Edge Lodge is seeking a Caregiver/Med Aide for the PM shift (2:30pm–11:00pm). This full-time position offers pay rates of $20.30 per hour for PCA shifts and $24.30 per hour for Med shifts, with a 4-on, 2-off schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, administering medications, monitoring status, and ensuring privacy and dignity. Applicants should have a high school diploma, 12 months in healthcare, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents.
• Ability to lift 150 pounds.

The primary functions of a caregiver and med aideare:

• Assist frail elderly with activities of daily living (dressing, toileting, brief changes, showering, etc.)
• Administer medications
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining privacy and dignity
• Monitor resident activity and functional status
• React timely to resident pull cords/alerts

We are looking for afull time employee.

• Regular full-time schedule is 4-on, 2-off
• On-call/PRN also available

Minimum qualifications are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
• Ability to lift 150 pounds
