Job summary

Right at Home is hiring caring and dependable individuals to join our in-home care team serving the Indianapolis area. You will assist seniors and disabled adults with daily activities, maintain safety, and provide compassionate support in clients' homes.

We offer Weekly Pay, flexible schedules, training & development, and bonuses, with immediate openings for all shifts. Full-time, part-time, and temporary roles available, with opportunities for referral bonuses and paid mileage.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile.
• Communicate effectively with office staff regularly.
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
