Job summary

Laurel Parc at Bethany Village in Portland, OR is seeking dedicated Caregivers to assist older adult residents. You will help with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support a vibrant, caring community environment within Bethany Village.

Qualifications

• Six months of caregiving experience preferred.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid training (employer provided) & Oregon Food Handlers Permit.

• Caregiver experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides general attention to residents' needs.
• Documents all Activities of Daily Living for each resident.
• Provides companionship and observes to ensure safety and report condition changes.
• Completes light housekeeping tasks.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding residents and care.
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure.

Laurel Parc at Bethany Village, just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area, goes to extraordinary lengths to create a place where seniors enjoy life to the fullest. Our care team help residents with light housekeeping, making beds, assisting with personal laundry, showers, toileting, dressing, oral & hair care, transferring and other needs based on individual service plans. Schedule: Day Shift (6:30am-2:30pm), Swing Shift (2:30pm-10:30pm), NOC Shift (10:30pm-6:30am)

Must be able to work weekends. 4 days on, 2 days off rotation.

Shift: Full Time & Part Time openings!

Pay: $21.00- 21.50 ($22.50-$23.00 Med Tech)

• Completion of paid pre-employment trainings- provided during onboarding.
• Must obtain current CPR/1st Aid training (employer provided) & Oregon Food Handlers Permit
• Must be able to work weekends and have some schedule flexibility
• Caregiver experience preferred, but not required.

Qualifications: Language Requirement

All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
