Job summary

Affinity Home Care seeks a compassionate Caregiver to join the team, providing in-home support in Portland, Beaverton, and Hillsboro. Duties include light housekeeping, errands, meal prep, transport to appointments, and medication reminders.

Requirements include a passion for working with seniors, 6 months of experience preferred, CPR/First Aid training provided on onboarding, and weekend availability. Must obtain Oregon Food Handlers Permit; on-call and part-time shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with seniors and have a caring attitude.
• At least 6 months of senior care experience preferred.
• Completion of paid pre-employment trainings provided during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provides general attention to residents' needs.
• Documents all Activities of Daily Living for each resident.
• Provides companionship and observes safety, reporting changes.
• Completes light housekeeping tasks.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding residents and care.
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure.

Affinity Home Care proudly provides quality, personalized in-home care services to clients in Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro and other surrounding cities. The successful candidate will provide assistance in and from the client's own home, such as with light housekeeping, running errands, taking clients to appointments, preparing meals, dressing, and providing medication reminders.
