Job summary

Hathaway Hills Assisted Living & Memory Care in Greenville, MI is seeking staff for part-time 2nd shift. You will provide comfort, safety and supervision to residents, assist with daily living activities, administer medications, and monitor health needs per care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Must have CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office in Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents per physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely medication administration.
• Review incoming medication orders for accuracy; update eMAR.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per service plans.
• Respond to resident call lights and safety alarms promptly.
• Observe and report changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care.
• Order/re-order medications to maintain adequate supply.
• Complete daily charting, documentation and reporting.
• Obtain resident weights and vitals.
• Train new employees as requested.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, work areas and common spaces.
• Assist with meal set up and cleanup.
• Participate in or lead activities planned by Life Enrichment; encourage resident participation.
• Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors.
