Job summary

Linden Square Senior Care in Saline, MI is seeking a Med Tech to provide direct resident care and lead by example in our assisted living community.

The role includes assisting with bathing, grooming, mobility, and medication support; supervising staff; monitoring wellbeing; and charting in electronic health records across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year experience in senior care preferred.
• Familiarity with dementia care and safe transfer techniques.
• Comfortable using computers and standard office equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• CPR/First Aid and medication assistance certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care including bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication support.
• Support and train care staff; model best practices and reinforce policies.
• Monitor resident well-being, chart changes in electronic health records, and report to clinical leadership.
• Conduct safety checks, maintain secure facilities, and respond to emergencies.
• Assist with daily tasks such as meal service, laundry, light housekeeping, and activity engagement.
• Manage supplies, maintain medication cart audits, and complete shift-specific documentation (TAR, vitals, labs, etc.).
• Participate in daily walk-throughs to ensure community readiness.

We're hiring a Med Tech to provide exceptional care and oversight in our assisted living community. This position includes leadership responsibilities and hands-on resident care to ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for our seniors.

• First Shift- 7:00a-3:30p
• Second Shift- 3:00p-11:30p
• Third Shift- 11:00p-7:30a

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• Medication administration: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
