Job summary

Bridgeway Park Blissfield Senior Living Facility in Blissfield is seeking a Med Tech for part-time shifts 2pm–10pm. You will assist residents with daily living activities and administer medications per physician orders, while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience administering medications to seniors per physician orders.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation and weekend availability.
• Part-time schedule: 2pm–10pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Administer medications and injections per physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a clean environment and assist with light housekeeping.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Monitor residents’ condition and report changes to supervisor.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Respond to call lights and address residents’ needs promptly.
• Document medications accurately.
• Support team members as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Part-time, 2pm - 10pm

As a Med Tech you will be in charge of

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Administering medications and injections to residents based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
