Job summary

Benevolent Hearts Home Care in Bedford, TX seeks an experienced caregiver leader to mentor peers and elevate in-home care quality. You will launch new cases, introduce permanent caregivers to families, and model best-practice care techniques.

You will provide hands-on care, perform safety assessments, train staff, and participate in after-hours on-call coverage, ensuring compassionate service for clients and families.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional caregiving/home-health experience.
• Leadership or supervisory duties are a plus.
• Strong coaching, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example: launch new cases and introduce caregivers to families.
• Provide hands-on care: hygiene, mobility, meals, housekeeping, meds reminders.
• Ensure quality and safety: home visits, plan-of-care updates.

What You’ll Do

• Lead by example: launch new cases, introduce permanent caregivers to families, and model best-practice care techniques.


• Provide hands-on care: assist clients with personal hygiene, mobility, light exercise, meals, housekeeping, errands, and medication reminders.


• Ensure quality & safety: complete home-safety assessments, conduct routine quality-assurance visits, and document plan-of-care updates for the Care Manager.


• Train & onboard caregivers: deliver one-on-one coaching, skills refreshers, and ongoing competency checks.


• Serve on the on-call rotation: triage caregiver call-outs, fill urgent shifts, and resolve client concerns after hours.


• Problem-solve in real time: address changes in client condition, escalate issues, and keep families informed.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of professional caregiving, HHA, CNA, or home-health experience (lead/supervisory duties a plus)

• Proven ability to coach peers and communicate effectively with clients, families, and clinical staff


• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift/transfer clients as needed


• Tech-savvy enough to document care notes in a mobile app or EMR
