Job summary

Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC is seeking in-home aides (CNAs and experienced caregivers) to provide one-on-one care in Dorchester, Berkeley and Charleston Counties in SC. We emphasize a respectful, friendly work environment, wellness resources, and in-house training.

Work part-time with days, evenings, weekends, or overnights. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, with flexible locations and shifts to suit client needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up-to-date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in-home, caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
• Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
• Pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities

Skills

• One year proven experience as a in-home caregiver (Preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training is available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
