Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking In-Home Aides (CNA’s and experienced caregivers) to serve Dorchester, Berkeley and Charleston Counties in South Carolina. Work part-time with flexible days, evenings, weekends or overnights.

No CNA license required and you will provide one-on-one personal care to clients in their homes. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle, plus the ability to follow care plans and communicate clearly with clients and

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up-to-date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs

• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
• Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status

• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training is available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
