Job summary

Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC seeks in-home aides to support seniors in Dorchester, Berkeley, and Charleston Counties. We provide non-medical home care enabling independence and dignity.

Part-time roles with flexible days, evenings, weekends and overnights. No CNA license required. Benefits include paid training, 24/7 office support, in-house training, and a respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, operating vehicle, current insurance.
• One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred.
• Strong communication and active listening with clients/families.
• Ability to stay calm in emergent situations and relay changes to staff.
• Background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare light meals per dietary restrictions.
• Provide transportation to shops, pharmacies, or appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping and companionable engagement.

Visiting Angels, America’s Choice in Homecare, is seeking In-Home Aides, both CNAs,Personal Care Aides and experienced caregivers, in Dorchester, Berkeley, and Charleston Counties. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required, and current, up-to-date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for the client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
• Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
• Pass background and drug screening

Skills

• One year of proven experience as an in-home caregiver (Preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training is available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
