Senior Helpers of Richmond, VA is seeking in-home caregivers to support seniors with dignity and independence through personal care and companionship, following care plans.

Applicants must be a Certified PCA/CNA/Nurse Aide, have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, and pass background and drug screening. Benefits include training, advancement opportunities, and a signing bonus.

Qualificações

• Caregiver must be a Certified PCA, CNA, or Nurse Aide to qualify for this position.
• Experience with Dementia is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license with no serious driving violations.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and staff.
• Assist with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Support with all ADLs and mobility as needed.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and our staff
• Assist with personal care

• ** Caregiver must be a Certified PCA, CNA, or Nurse Aide to get qualified for this position
• Ability to get to work using reliable transportation
• Valid US issued driver’s license with no serious driving violations
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers
• Pass a drug screening test
• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus, but not required
• Must be able to be reached via phone, text, or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
