Job summary

Senior Helpers of Richmond, VA is urgently hiring caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in the community. You will assist with activities of daily living, offer companionship, and support families with updates and coordination for care plans.

Qualifications

• Caregiver must be a Certified PCA, CNA, or Nurse Aide to qualify for this position.
• Experience with Dementia is preferred and a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation to work and a valid US driver's license.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and our staff.
• Assist with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as qualified (e.g., gait belt).
• Prior experience with dementia is a plus but not required.

• Must be able to be reached via phone, text, or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
