Generations is seeking a Caregiver at CherryWood Village in Portland, OR to assist residents with daily living activities and follow care plans under supervision. This on-site role offers both full-time and part-time shifts with evenings and weekends as needed.

We value compassionate, patient individuals with good communication and teamwork. Certifications are a plus, but not required; CPR/First Aid available on hire. Generations offers PTO, benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Description

Caregivers at Cherrywood Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• Full-time in Assisted Living working Thurs-Mon from 2 pm to 10 pm
• Part-time in Memory Care working Saturday and Sunday from 2 pm to 10 pm
• 8-Hour Shifts
• Holiday availability preferred

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
