Job summary

HomeWell Care Services Delaware in Lewes, Delaware is seeking compassionate Caregivers/Home Care Aides for both full-time and part-time shifts. You will provide non-medical personal assistance to clients, helping them stay independent with dignity.

Certification such as HHA or CNA is welcomed but not required; 1+ year caregiving experience, background checks, TB test, and pre-employment screening are part of the process. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certification welcomed but not required.
• At least 1 year of direct caregiving experience.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical & drug screening.
• TB Test Clearance Required.
• Criminal Background & Fingerprint Check Required.
• Reliable Transportation Required – driver’s license & auto insurance.
• Ability to work one weekend day per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with household tasks: light cleaning, laundry, meals.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.

Your Role as a Caregiver / Home Care Aide

In this role, you will provide non-medical personal assistance services, ensuring our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Duties Include:

• Companionship & Social Engagement


• Household Support – Light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation


• Personal Assistance – Bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing support


• Mobility Assistance & Transfers


• Medication Reminders


• Transportation & Errand Assistance (if applicable)

Qualifications & Requirements:

• HHA or CNA certification is welcomed but not required


• Caregivers and Home Care Aides without certification must have at least 1 year of direct caregiving experience


• Must pass a pre-employment physical & drug screening

• Reliable Transportation Required – If transporting clients, must have valid driver’s license & auto insurance


• Ability to Work One (1) Weekend Day Per Month
