Job summary

HomeWell Care Services Delaware is seeking a Weekend Caregiver / Home Care Aide to provide non-medical personal assistance and companionship to clients in Kent and Sussex Counties. The role features Saturday and Sunday shifts with flexible, part-time hours, enabling weekdays to remain free.

No formal credential is required, though HHA/CNA certification is welcomed. Candidates should have at least 6 months of direct caregiving experience and be prepared to pass pre-employment checks and maintain

Qualifications

HHA or CNA certification welcomed but not required
At least 6 months of direct caregiving experience
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
TB Test Clearance Required
Criminal Background and Fingerprint Check Required
Reliable Transportation – valid driver's license and auto insurance

Your Role as a Weekend Caregiver / Home Care Aide

In this role, you will provide non-medical personal assistance services, ensuring our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Duties Include:

Companionship & Social Engagement
Household Support – Light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
Personal Assistance – Bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing support
Mobility Assistance & Transfers
Medication Reminders
Transportation & Errand Assistance (if applicable)

All services are provided with respect, professionalism, and a commitment to client dignity.

Qualifications & Requirements:

HHA or CNA certification is welcomed but not required
Caregivers and Home Care Aides without certification must have at least 6 months of direct caregiving experience
Must pass a pre-employment physical & drug screening
TB Test Clearance Required
