Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Glendale, AZ is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide personalized, non-medical support to seniors who want to remain safely at home.

You’ll follow each client’s care plan, provide companionship, assist with bathing, meals, mobility, light housekeeping, and transportation when needed. We value reliability, empathy, and clear communication. Flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1,000 hours of caregiving experience.
• Approximately 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time experience caring for seniors or individuals with chronic illnesses.
• Exceptions may be considered for newly licensed CNAs, HHAs, or PCAs.
• Current TB test, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a national background check.
• Ability to meet applicable state and federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation.
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting with walking, mobility, and transfers.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Running errands or providing transportation when applicable.
• Following the client’s individualized care plan.
• Communicating with the office regarding client needs or concerns.
• Help maintain clients’ independence, dignity, and quality of life.

What You’ll Do

Additional Requirements

• Current TB test


• Reliable transportation


• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle if transporting clients


• Ability to pass a national criminal background check and drug screening


• Ability to meet applicable state and federal requirements
