HomeWell Care Services Delaware is seeking compassionate Caregivers/Home Care Aides to join our client-focused team serving Kent and Sussex counties. We offer full-time and part-time shifts with paid training and opportunities for career growth.

You will provide non-medical personal assistance, companionship, light housekeeping, mobility support, and transportation as needed. Certification welcomed but not required; 6 months of caregiving experience preferred; pre-employment screening and

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certification welcomed but not required
• At least 6 months direct caregiving experience for non-certified candidates
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
• TB test clearance required
• Criminal background and fingerprint check required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with auto insurance
• Must be able to work one weekend day per month

Responsabilités

• Provide companionship and social engagement
• Household support: light cleaning, laundry, and meal prep
• Personal assistance: bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide medication reminders
• Transportation and errand support (where applicable)

Your Role as a Caregiver / Home Care Aide

In this role, you will provide non-medical personal assistance services, ensuring our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Duties Include:

• Companionship & Social Engagement
• Household Support – Light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Personal Assistance – Bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing support
• Mobility Assistance & Transfers
• Medication Reminders
• Transportation & Errand Assistance (if applicable)

All services are provided with respect, professionalism, and a commitment to client dignity.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• HHA or CNA certification is welcomed but not required
• Caregivers and Home Care Aides without certification must have at least 6 months of direct caregiving experience
• Must pass a pre-employment physical & drug screening
• TB Test Clearance Required
• Criminal Background & Fingerprint Check Required
• Reliable Transportation Required – If transporting clients, must have valid driver's license & auto insurance
• Ability to Work One (1) Weekend Day Per Month
