HomeWell Care Services Delaware is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team as a Caregiver / Home Care Aide. We serve clients across Kent and Sussex Counties with full-time and part-time shifts, offering training and support to help you grow in the role.

As a licensed PASA provider, we prioritize dignity and independence, provide non-medical personal assistance, companionship, household help, personal care, and transportation support. Certification is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

HHA or CNA certification is welcome but not required.
At least 6 months of direct caregiving experience if uncertified.
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
TB test clearance and criminal background/fingerprint checks required.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Companionship and social engagement
Household support: light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
Personal assistance: bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
Mobility assistance and transfers
Medication reminders
Transportation and errands (if applicable)

Your Role as a Caregiver / Home Care Aide

In this role, you will provide non-medical personal assistance services, ensuring our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Duties Include

Companionship & Social Engagement
Household Support – Light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
Personal Assistance – Bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing support
Mobility Assistance & Transfers
Medication Reminders
Transportation & Errand Assistance (if applicable)

All services are provided with respect, professionalism, and a commitment to client dignity.

Qualifications & Requirements

HHA or CNA certification is welcome but not required
Caregivers and Home Care Aides without certification must have at least 6 months of direct caregiving experience
Must pass a pre-employment physical & drug screening
TB Test Clearance Required

Reliable Transportation Required – If transporting clients, must have a valid driver’s license & auto insurance
Ability to Work One (1) Weekend Day Per Month
