Job summary

Home Instead is seeking caregivers to support seniors in the greater Pittsburgh area. You’ll provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and help maintain clients’ independence.

A valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle are required, with driving to client homes across the service area. We offer paid training, ongoing support, and opportunities for benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching where eligible.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and three professional references.
• Willing to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s).
• Completion of any required compliance, license, or registration steps.
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills; bilingual candidates encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with seniors through companionship and care.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in maintaining independence and dignity.

Whether you’re experienced or brand new to professional home care, our team is here to help you every step of the way. You’ll be driving to client’s homes in the greater Pittsburgh area, so a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle are required.

Pay & Benefits

• $15.00–$16.00/hr, plus $1/hr for weekend visits**
• Opportunity to earn up to $18.00/hr after your first 8 weeks***
• Weekly pay with direct deposit

*must be in good standing and worked a minimum of 16 visits in first 45 days

**Weekend visits start between Saturday 12:01AM and Sunday 11:59PM

***To be considered for the wage increase, you must meet Honor's requirements as a driver (valid U.S. drivers' license and clean driving record), have more than 6 months of paid/professional caregiving experience, work 20 visits in your first 8 weeks of employment, and remain in good standing with Honor. The $18.00 is for select regions and applies to weekend shifts with high transfer clients
