Job summary

Home Instead in the Pittsburgh area is hiring caregivers to build relationships with seniors through companionship and hands‑on support. You’ll drive to client homes, provide meals, light housekeeping and personal care while helping clients stay independent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of three professional references.
• Willing to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client.
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills; bilingual candidates welcome.
• Completion of any required compliance steps.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with seniors through companionship and care.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Whether you’re experienced or brand new to professional home care, our team is here to help you every step of the way. You’ll be driving to client’s homes in the greater Pittsburgh area, so a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle are required.

Pay & Benefits

• $15.00–$16.00/hr, plus $1/hr for weekend visits**
• Opportunity to earn up to $18.00/hr after your first 8 weeks***
• Weekly pay with direct deposit

• Mileage reimbursement for travel between same-day visits

*must be in good standing and worked a minimum of 16 visits in first 45 days

**Weekend visits start between Saturday 12:01AM and Sunday 11:59PM

***To be considered for the wage increase, you must meet Honor's requirements as a driver (valid U.S. drivers' license and clean driving record), have more than 6 months of paid/professional caregiving experience, work 20 visits in your first 8 weeks of employment, and remain in good standing with Honor. The $18.00 is for select regions and applies to weekend shifts with high transfer clients
