Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care of San Mateo County is seeking a detail-oriented Hiring & Recruiting Coordinator to manage caregiver recruitment, conduct initial interviews, and lead orientations from our Half Moon Bay office.

You will coordinate hiring documentation, create profiles for scheduling, and collaborate with office and scheduling teams to meet client needs. Prior recruiting experience is preferred, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting or hiring coordination preferred.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to conduct interviews and lead virtual orientations.
• Comfort learning software and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage caregiver recruitment: find and connect with candidates, review applications, conduct pre-screenings and initial interviews, and provide timely follow-up.
• Maintain job postings: create and update postings on CareerPlug for Indeed and local job boards.
• Lead caregiver orientations: conduct Zoom orientations from our office using a prepared PowerPoint.
• Coordinate hiring documentation: gather required information and ensure documentation is complete and organized.
• Prepare introductions for scheduling: create caregiver profiles with experience, skills, availability, and strengths.
• Monitor recruiting results: track metrics and improve processes.
• Stay connected with the office team: provide updates and adjust priorities with scheduling.
