Job summary

Brandywine Living at Mahwah by Monarch Communities is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide warm personal care and companionship. The role covers weekends across all shifts in Mahwah, NJ, with a focus on assisting residents with daily living activities and monitoring changes to adjust care plans.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, CNA or CHHA certification, and English proficiency. Experience with the elderly, including dementia exposure, is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year resident care experience.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
• Able to speak, read and write in English.
• Knowledge working with elderly population; dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support and companionship.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs to update their care plan.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.

Job Description

Caregiver- HHA & CNA- WEEKENDS ALL SHIFTS

Location: Brandywine Assisted Living, Mahwah, NJ

Hourly Rate: $21.31

Open Shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am

What will you get to do as a Care Manager?

• Use your compassion to provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship.
• Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year resident care experience required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid
• Able to speak, read and write in English
• Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience
