Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a caring Caregiver- HHA & CNA to join Brandywine Assisted Living in Mahwah, NJ. The role offers full-time, part-time and per diem shifts with an hourly rate of $20.31–$21.31.

You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with ADLs, monitor resident needs, and support daily activities in a supportive community setting. Prior elder care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year resident care experience required.
• CNA or CHHA certification is required.
• Able to speak, read and write in English.
• Knowledge and experience with elderly care; dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support and companionship to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and note changes in residents' needs and update their Resident Care Plan.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.

Open Shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am

• Use your compassion to provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship.
• Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
