Job summary

Monarch Communities at Brandywine Living in Mahwah, NJ is seeking a dedicated Caregiver (HHA & CNA) for full-time, part-time, or per diem shifts. You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with ADLs, and help keep residents engaged in activities.

Shifts available 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am; hourly rate $20.31-$21.31. Requirements include HS diploma or GED and CNA/CHHA certification; English proficiency and elder-care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1+ year resident care experience preferred.
• CNA or CHHA certification required.
• Able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Update Resident Care Plans as needs change.
• Encourage participation in community programs and activities.

What will you get to do as a Care Manager?

• Use your compassion to provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship.
• Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year resident care experience required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid
• Able to speak, read and write in English
• Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience
