Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Full Time Caregiver (HHA & CNA) for Brandywine Assisted Living in Mahwah, NJ. The role offers an hourly rate of $20.31 to $21.31 and shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, 1 year of resident care experience, and CNA or HHA certification. The position emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, engagement with residents in ADLs, and contributing to residents' care plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year resident care experience.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide.
• Able to speak, read and write in English.
• Knowledge and experience with elderly population; dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support and companionship.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor changes in residents' day and personal care needs and update their Resident Care Plan.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
