Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. in Kansas is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team for in-home, one-on-one non-medical care. You will help seniors age in place with empathy and integrity, forming meaningful relationships in clients' homes.

No healthcare certification is required, though CNA/HHA or 6+ months of geriatric care is preferred. Responsibilities include companionship, daily living tasks, transport, and safety support; reliability and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA/HHA or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred.
• Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus.
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.
• Pass a criminal background check (national and any state requirements).
• Proof of tuberculosis test (negative).
• Must be physically able to perform the duties including lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as feeding, reminders, bathing, grooming, and light housekeeping.
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety assistance.

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers

• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
