Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team, providing non-medical, in-home support to seniors who wish to age in place. You will work one-on-one with clients, offering companionship and assistance with daily living activities while maintaining their dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship.
• Assist with activities of daily living (feeding, reminders, bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, toileting, light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep).
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety support.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
