Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team, providing one-on-one non-medical in-home services to help seniors age in place with empathy and integrity.

We offer flexible full- or part-time options, opportunities for advancement, and training to support your development in a patient-centered environment dedicated to enhancing quality of life for older adults.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required.
• CNA/HHA preferred or 6+ months caregiving experience.
• Dementia and Alzheimer's care experience a plus.
• Daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel up to 15 miles for shifts.
• Compassionate, mature, punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as feeding and reminders, bathing/dressing, hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.
• Transport to appointments, errands and social outings.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety assistance.

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

QUALIFICATIONS

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
