Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team, providing one-on-one non-medical in-home care to seniors who wish to age in place. You will work individually with clients in their homes, delivering empathetic, high-quality support to enhance daily life.

Qualifications include a preference for CNA/HHA or related experience, willingness to travel up to 15 miles, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required, but CNA/HHA or related experience preferred.
• Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care is a plus.
• Daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone.
• Must pass a criminal background check and provide TB test.
• Must be physically capable of lifting ~25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; proof of insurance.
• Ability to travel up to 15 miles for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship with clients.
• Assist with daily living tasks (feeding, reminders, bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep).
• Transport to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

QUALIFICATIONS

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
