Job summary

The Springs Living, LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our Memory Care team in Oregon. You’ll get to know residents individually, support them through daily routines, and help create a warm, familiar environment where they feel safe and connected.

Memory Care caregiving emphasizes patience, consistency, and understanding each resident’s needs to promote dignity and quality of life. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous caregiving or Memory Care experience preferred.
• A caring, dependable, and patient approach to working with older adults.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care based on each resident’s service plan (bathing, dressing, grooming, daily routines).
• Build trusting relationships with residents through warmth, patience, encouragement, and companionship.
• Support residents with dementia in a manner that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Learn each resident’s preferences, routines, and successful care approaches.
• Communicate changes in resident needs to the supervisor.
• Respond to resident requests, pages, and call lights.
• Work as part of a team to create a positive, welcoming environment for residents and families.

The Springs at Clackamas Woods is looking for compassionate, dependable Caregivers to join our Memory Care team. In this role, you’ll get to know our residents as individuals, support them through their daily routines, and help create a warm, familiar environment where they can feel comfortable and connected.

Memory Care caregiving is about more than completing a task list. It’s about patience, consistency, encouragement, and taking the time to understand what helps each resident feel safe and supported.

Responsibilities Include

• Provide personalized care and support based on each resident’s service plan, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily routines.
• Build trusting relationships with residents through warmth, patience, encouragement, and genuine companionship.
• Support residents with dementia in a way that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life.

• Communicate changes in resident needs and preferences to the appropriate supervisor.

• Previous caregiving or Memory Care experience preferred. Transferable experience and a caring, patient approach are also valued.

Schedule

• Set schedules with consistent days off. No rotating schedule.
• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
