Job summary

WellQuest Living Elk Grove is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide personal assistance and daily care to residents at our Elk Grove, CA community. You will support ADLs, assist with meals, promote participation in activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment under supervision by the Health Services Director.

This full-time role requires at least a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1 year of healthcare experience (preferred), and a Food Handlers Card if required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handlers Card required if applicable.
• One year experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; follow written and oral directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, hygiene.
• Support meals, provide serving assistance and post-meal cleanup.
• Encourage participation in daily activities and maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to a supervisor promptly.
• Respond to resident needs promptly and maintain dignity and confidentiality.
• Assist Medication Aides as needed.
