Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / CNA in Mountain Rest, SC (29664). This role supports a male client with a focus on empathy, safety, and quality of life.

Typical schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday or Saturday, 10 AM–5 PM or 11 AM–6 PM, with a 1:1 caregiver-to-client ratio. Pay ranges $15.00–$16.00/hour depending on experience and licensing. Same-day pay options and travel time between clients are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of caregiving experience in a home care setting.
• Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient approach.
• Reliable transportation and insurance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and companionship.
• Support mobility and safety, including ambulation assistance, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide medication reminders, observe and document health conditions, and promptly report any concerns.
• Create meaningful moments by engaging clients in activities they enjoy—like reading, puzzles, and hobbies tailored to their interests.

As a Caregiver / CNA with Interim, you’ll enjoy:
