Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors in Carroll and Frederick counties and nearby areas. You’ll build meaningful one-on-one relationships, help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home, and support their daily routines.

Responsibilities include companionship, meal preparation, basic personal care, and following each client’s care plan. A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, CPR certification, TB test results, and a smartphone

Our Service Area:

Our office serves clients throughout Carroll County, Frederick County, and surrounding areas. We work with each caregiver to find available shifts that align with their location, availability, and experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide caring companionship through conversation, help with hobbies, meal preparation, and more
• Assist with all aspects of personal hygiene care, diet monitoring, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with non-medical care needs, including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery
• Follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience providing personal care to adults, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and assisting with transfers
• Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle
• Currently CPR certified + Negative TB test results
• Smartphone with data internet access
• Good communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned

Preferred, but not required:

• CNA/GNA (past or present)
• Memory-care experience
