Senior Helpers Southern Maryland is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate in-home support to seniors across Southern Maryland. Flexible scheduling and a pay range of $16.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment, are offered along with opportunities for consistent hours and overtime opportunities.

Benefits include mileage reimbursement, paid training, referral and performance bonuses, retirement, and local office support.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to complete required pre-employment screening and onboarding.

Responsabilidades

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Help with walking, mobility, and transfers.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Assist with errands or transportation when applicable.
• Support clients with daily routines.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition.
• Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

What You'll Do

• Provide companionship and conversation

Who We're Looking For

• Have at least 1 year of caregiving experience
• Genuinely enjoy working with seniors
• Are compassionate, patient, and respectful
• Are dependable and punctual
• Communicate well with clients, families, and our office team
• Are comfortable providing care in a client's home

Schedule & Hours

We have a variety of client needs, including:

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Overnight shifts
• PRN / fill-in opportunities

Hours typically range from 12-40 hours per week, depending on your availability and current client needs.

Weekend and holiday availability can provide access to additional opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Basic Health Screening and Negative TB test
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to complete required pre-employment screening and onboarding
